All Cr’s
As all know by now we have actively started to put a case together in the hope of getting many of our clerks reclassified so they may finally be paid what they should be paid. We all also know we have been stonewalled and by this process hope to correct this. By next week all should have been given your work descriptions from your supervisors. The next step of the process can start.
Here is what we are suggesting you do:
- Read over the work descriptions your bosses gave you
- For each paragraph listed, fill out the work you do, whether you do it on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
- When you figure you have finished and listed all of your duties, get together and collectively with other CR’s doing the same job and come up with one master list
- On that list make sure you list all the names of the CR’s doing the same job, we don’t want to miss anyone.
- Make sure all your duties are listed because that is how you get points
- Pass the finished project on to your union reps who in turn will pass those on to me
- Keep a copy of your finished product for future reference.
- Should you have problems contact your stewards for help
- Please fill out the following: attached form letter
- Keep a copy
- Hand in to one copy to your supervisor
- On your copy put your classification
- Return copy to Fred Milligan at Rainbow Bridge
- Once you get your job descriptions we will contact you probably in the next two weeks for the next steps
