Hello All,

In december of last year I was elected to lead this branch for the next three years. As I told you then,
this will be the last time that I run for the position of President or any other position. The last three years have been eventful to say the least, and being on the bargaining committee made for a busy time period.

When I finish this term I will have been your President for eleven years, time for new members to take the helm wherever it may lead. The Customs and Immigration Union is charting new waters as it has done now for some time.

Now that we have out members armed, time has come to seriously look at the Border Patrol issue. As of next year, students will be a thing of the past, and hopefully our members will finally be recognized for what we really are, Border Security Officers, not bank tellers.
